Development Manager

£28,000 per annum plus pension

37 hours per week (25 days holiday plus 8 public holidays)

Opening in May 2020, Ayrshire Food Hub, situated at Crossroads, are looking for an experienced proactive Development Manager to work closely with the Trustee Board, staff and volunteers. The new purpose built hub will enable expansion of our established educational outreach work promoting growing, cooking and eating ”local” as well as setting up a farm shop, café  and new educational and social activities. The Hub has a café, farm shop, community/teaching kitchen, education/event space and growing areas.

As the Development Manager, you will be responsible for all Hub activities, including: Food, Retail and Catering, Business Administration, Marketing, Staff Recruitment, Training and Leadership. This role will suit an ambitious and successful business development/catering/hospitality manager

You will be a strategic and creative thinker, personable, professional and have the desire to be an integral part of a dynamic community organisation.
